In this class, students will embark on a creative journey to learn how to write their very own play from scratch! This unique opportunity is taught by the talented playwright, director, and artist Yivette Scroggins, who brings a wealth of experience and insight to the workshop. You certainly do not want to miss this chance to develop and build your own story with expert guidance and support!


As a part of our 302 E Beale Street, Kingman, AZ, 86401 , we warmly invite aspiring playwrights, both adults and teens, from our community, ages 13 and up, to compose and submit their original plays for our esteemed Playwright Showcase. A maximum of 6 exceptional plays will be selected, granting these 6 emerging playwrights the thrilling opportunity to cast, direct, and perform their productions during our Playwright Showcase event scheduled for September 2026.

Aspiring young playwrights ages 13-19 are invited to compose and submit a 10-minute play for our Student Playwright Showcase.
