  • Wind in the Willows has begun rehearsals! Stay tuned for more from our casts and production crews. Tickets are on sale now! 
  • Check out our Youth Concert Band, this is a year round club that young musicians ages 13-18 may join at any time. Email education@kingmanarts.org or TEXT 928-897-3092 for more information.
  • Aspiring playwrights adults and teens 13 and up are invited to compose and submit a play for our Playwright Showcase. Up to six playwrights will be chosen to cast, direct, and perform their plays at our Student Playwright Showcase in September of 2026. These playwrights will be provided expert guidance by our Education staff, including Playwright and Director Yivette Scroggins as well as Education Director Sidney Valdez. Students' plays will be carefully reviewed by our education department.

Guidelines are as follows: 


  1. Plays must be typed and should be in standard play format 
  2. They should include setting, characters, character descriptions, dialog, and stage directions
  3. Original one-act plays may be up 10-30 pages in length and approximately 10-30 minutes in duration
  4. Plays should feature 1-4 characters, no more than 10
  5. Play submissions should be accompanied with your name, email, phone number, play title 
  6. Plays should be submitted to our Education Department via email by July 6th 2026 at education@kingmanarts.org

  • How do I audition for a youth theater play?

    Audition notices for all youth productions are posted on our Auditions & Volunteer page. No prior experience is required for youth auditions (ages 7-18).
  • What are the typical ticket prices for youth shows?

    Tickets for youth shows are generally $20–$10 for Adults, $12–$6 for Teens (12-17), and $5–$10 for Kids (4-11).
  • Who can participate in the workshops and auditions?

    Please see the event description for an exact age range, but most youth auditions/workshops are for ages 7-18.
  • Where do the events take place?

    All events are held at our theater located at 302 E Beale Street, Kingman, AZ, 86401.
